A family business, from the very beginning.

Best of Chums got its start in 2008 the way a lot of good things do — with a sewing machine, a small team, and a lot of late nights. Long before we were a brand you could shop online, we were a manufacturer, cutting and sewing children's apparel for other labels. We learned the craft from the inside out: how a hem should lie, how a fabric should feel against a kid who's about to run, climb, and spill juice on it anyway.

Somewhere along the way, we asked ourselves: why not make clothes under our own name, for families like ours? That question turned into Isobella & Chloe, our very first brand. Mabel and Honey followed, then Beckett and Bear, then Lauren Marie — four brands, each with its own personality, all built by the same family.

We're proud to be a woman-owned and minority-owned family business, run day to day by us and the people we love most. Every decision — from fabric to fit to what actually ships — passes through the hands of people who grew up in this business, not a boardroom.
